Realistically, I should decide how big it's going to be. HOWEVER.
But depending on the song's effects on my synesthesia, the colors and patterns will be different. I can surely find that many patterns for seven-inch squares, and there's a reasonable amount of similarity between the movement of colors so that I can represent several songs with the same patterns. It'll be really interesting, I think, because I'll have a lot of squares, which means a lot of songs, and not many colors [chosen on purpose so that it won't look godawful by the time I'm done].
My current calculations are to make it around 4' x 6' [slightly smaller than a twin bed and not too big to pick up and drag along with me to places], so seventy squares. We'll see. It depends on if I do a border around the whole thing, if I border each square, or what, because that'll add rather a lot to it.
Songs are listed below, and the links next to them are to the pictures of the squares. They're liable to change, and it's almost certainly going to grow.
[And, to DA, the category of whatever/Fiber Art is no more correct than whatever/Quilting is; mine is quite possibly more correct because these aren't pieces of fabric that I'm stitching onto, they're pieces of crochet work that will be fastened together in the semblance of a quilt, but not using fabric. GAH. Please make the distinctions between your categories more clear.
I suppose I should be glad that I'm not being pegged for copyright infringement by using the titles of the songs for the titles of my pieces, since otherwise they would be called "Untitled 1-60" or whatever. But hey, titles aren't copyrighted.

EDIT: So now that I've run out of time [well, sort ofit's due tomorrow morning], I've had to chop out a few songs so that I'm down to twenty-one of them. It'll be a 21" by 49" [roughly] runner-type-thing using the songs that are left above. If I work tonight, I ought to be able to finish them.

The earth moving under me
Bedroom scent, beauty ardent
Distant shiver, heaven sent..."
